- Confirm USB cable and port are working; use an original certified cable.
 - Unlock your Ledger® device and open the correct app (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) on the device before connecting.
 - Update Ledger® Live and device firmware to the latest recommended versions.
 - Temporarily disable browser extensions or security software that may block connections.

Account recovery & 2FA reset
Ledger® hardware wallets use a recovery seed (24 words). If you can't login or lost device, Ledger® Account Recovery means restoring using your recovery phrase on a compatible Ledger® device or a secure recovery tool. Ledger® does not store your seed — Ledger® Support cannot recover it for you. If you used third-party 2FA tied to accounts, follow those providers' reset processes; Ledger® hardware itself does not use centralized 2FA.
When Ledger® Live App not working / Can't verify Ledger® wallet
Verification failures often stem from outdated firmware, corrupted app cache, or incorrect pairing mode. Clear app cache, reinstall Ledger® Live, and re-pair the device. If you receive prompts about unexpected recovery or backups, treat them as high-risk and consult the Ledger® Help Center first.
